This painting is titled
“Maestro”, which means teacher in Spanish, because it is a term used by
the followers of Jesus in the New Testament. Although many people accepted
him as the messiah, his close followers called him “Maestro” as a show of
respect and because of the numerous life lessons that he so intelligently
shared with them. This Mosaic Impressionism painting seems to only include
a random array of colored blocks; however, when viewed from a distance or
by squinting the eyes, the face of Jesus is revealed. |
